Who Dares Wins proudly presents the second album from Melbourne's own Focus Group, titled 'Australian Drama'. It marks the band's evolution as they explore new ideas, seek new sounds and pose new questions.

Following the first offerings from the record including the driving debut single 'Peanuts', the unnerving intensity of 'Catch of the Day', and the introspective depth of 'Myokymia', the band is poised to elevate their post-punk sound to new heights with this 8-track LP.

Sonically, expect overdrive and chorus, rich reverb-soaked guitars and fuzz. Expect synthesisers and kraut-inspired drums. Expect heavy breaks and saxophone, dead pan vocal, singing, yelling, pleading and all in between.

The record tackles themes of escapism, distorted reality, egos, farewells, epilepsy and the complexities of modern existence.

'Australian Drama' is the inaugural release for new Melbourne based record label Who Dares Wins, out on April 12, 2024
